Sierra Surgery Hospital opened in 2005 as the first and only physician-owned specialty hospital in the state. Many of the outstanding doctors on the Sierra medical staff have cared for patients in northern Nevada for decades. Using their professional and life experiences, these physicians dedicated this hospital to meeting the particular needs of patients having elective surgery.
